We often see electric vehicle charging stations around us, but when installing smart charging stations, we often encounter the following problems.
1. Do charging stations need coordination?
The charging station believes that drilling a few holes on the ground to fix the charging station and pulling another wire is not enough. In fact, the coordination workload is quite large. There are four main departments: the user themselves, the car company, the power company, and the property management. Property owner. The application form is directly the same as the application form of the commercial company in your city, and then transferred to the power supply bureau. Afterwards, the technical engineer will inspect the site and provide a construction plan. If you install in the community, you need to obtain the consent of the developers.
2. Is construction difficult?
During the construction process, it is necessary to coordinate the installation space of the distribution cabinet and require the owner to move vehicles to facilitate the construction. The cable connecting the charging station is thicker than a child's arm. The current of each charging station is 36 amperes, and four of them are 144 amperes. In the future, the number of charging stations will be increased. Without such a thick cable, it cannot withstand higher currents. The cable is not laid on the ground, but is erected from the air because there are many vehicles entering and exiting the underground parking lot, and it is laid on the ground. Once the cable is crushed, the consequences will be catastrophic. Setting up from the air requires a lot of work. But for safety reasons, it is still worth it. In order to install the cables from the air, four workers spent four days dismantling the originally arranged cable trays and laying the cables.
3. Is the charging station safe?
Experts say that the safety performance of charging stations can be largely guaranteed technically. When installing a charging station, try to keep it closed as much as possible. Only the user of the charging station can open the charging interface, effectively preventing the occurrence of leakage accidents.
4. How long does it take to install a charging station?
Generally speaking, if all conditions are met, such as the property and power supply departments agreeing, and the installation plan is not very complicated, the installation can be completed in three days. The general process is for the installation company to issue an installation plan, which will be approved by the power supply department before sending personnel to the installation site. Under normal circumstances, the charging station can be installed within one day, and after passing the acceptance inspection, the power supply department will supply power to the charging station.
