01 DC Charging and AC Charging
Fast charging and slow charging
DC charging, commonly known as "fast charging"
It is fixed outside the electric vehicle and connected to the communication network. Provide DC power supply for non vehicle electric vehicle power batteries. The input voltage of the DC charging station is three-phase four wire AC380V (+15%), with a frequency of 50Hz. The charging station outputs adjustable DC current to directly charge the power battery of electric vehicles.
The DC charging station adopts three-phase four wire power supply, which can provide sufficient power, with a wide range of output voltage and current regulation, and can meet the requirements of fast charging. For vehicles used in society, the auxiliary power supply voltage is 12V, and the vehicle battery usually takes 1-2 hours to go from 0 to full. The specific situation also depends on the battery capacity and actual charging power of different models.
Communication charging, commonly known as "slow charging"
It is fixed outside the electric vehicle and connected to the communication network. The national standard uses 220V single-phase AC power to provide AC power for electric vehicle chargers (i.e. chargers fixed on electric vehicles). The communication charging station only provides power output and has no charging function. Charging electric vehicles requires connecting to a car charger.
02 Charging stations and charging stations.
Charging station is an energy storage device for electric vehicle batteries.
Charging station: Traditional AC/DC integrated charging, where a single charging station is integrated with a charger. It refers to a specialized device that is fixed on the ground, transmits electrical energy from the grid, and charges the power battery of electric vehicles.
Common name for charging equipment and power supply equipment
The general term for equipment and facilities used to provide electricity to electric vehicles typically includes charging stations, distributed or centralized AC charging stations, supporting equipment and facilities for charging stations. So charging facilities ≥ charging equipment!
Charging station with multiple charging stations
It consists of two or more non vehicle chargers for electric vehicles, which can charge the electric vehicles and monitor the condition of the chargers and batteries during the charging process.
Charging system, all non destructible things added from the ground to the charging station.
Charging system: a system composed of all charging equipment, cables, and related auxiliary devices in the charging station.
Charging network, all charging stations in the area form a charging network
Charging network: If a sufficient number of charging stations are built within a certain geographical area and a reasonable layout is formed, it is called a charging network.
