Charging stations play an important role in the use of electric vehicles. In order to shorten the charging time for users, household or public charging stations generally use high voltage and high current working methods, which have extremely high safety requirements. Although charging stations are equipped with electrical protection devices such as leakage protection, overcurrent protection, and lightning protection, and anti-theft locks are installed on the charging station columns to provide users with basic safety guarantees, some safety hazards still need to be taken seriously. Let's talk about the safe use of electric vehicle charging stations.
1、 Check before charging
Before charging, check the charging station and other related equipment, keep the fire-fighting equipment and facilities clean and dry, and ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
2、 During the charging process
During the charging process, check the charging station instruments, data, charging modules, circuits, switches, and other facilities to see if they are functioning properly.
3、 If there is a malfunction during the charging process
If a malfunction occurs during the charging process, immediately press the emergency stop button on the charger to prevent the malfunction from further escalating, and report to professional personnel for equipment maintenance.
2. In case of system fire, first use the emergency shutdown device to cut off the power supply, and then use ABC universal fire extinguisher or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. It is strictly prohibited to use foam fire extinguisher and water to extinguish the fire.
4、 After charging is completed
The charging gun should be removed according to regulations, the cable should be arranged and placed on the rack, and the charging port and car door should be locked.
